Should our government afford us the responsibility by educating us of our purchases? "In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men the great difficulty lies in this: You must first enable the government to control the governed, and in the next place, oblige it to control itself." Alexander Hamilton

"A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor and bread it has earned- this is the sum of good government. Educate and inform the whole mass of the people... They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty." Thomas Jefferson

"Liberty cannot be preserved without the general knowledge among the people." John Adams

"Government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth. I am a firm believer in the people. "A nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people." John F Kennedy

What would you say about a government who fails to inform its citizens in their freedom of choice? "Liberty, according to my metaphysics is a self-determining power in an intellectual agent. It implies thought and choice and power." John Adams

"If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich." John F. Kennedy

"Our defense is in the preservation of the spirit which prizes liberty as a heritage of all men, in all lands, everywhere. Destroy this spirit and you have planted the seeds of despitism around your own doors." Abraham Lincoln

What if they say the American Spirit cannot handle it and that it cannot work? " I know of no safe depository of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them but to inform their discretion." Thomas Jefferson

"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." Benjamin Franklin

"We believe that if men have the talent to invent new machines that put men out of work, they have the talent to put those men back to work." John F Kennedy

What can we do in a non-violent manner if our government fails continuously to adhere to our petition requests? ( Freedom of choice) “Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed.”  Martin Luther King Jr.
"It was just a day like any other day. The only thing that made it significant was that the masses of the people joined in." Rosa Parks
"Every generation needs a new revolution. I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from waisting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them." Thomas Jefferson
"Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up, and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable- a most sacred right- a right, which we hope and believe, is to liberate the world." Abraham Lincoln
" We must, indeed, all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall hang separately." Benjamin Franklin
" The people will save their government. if the government itself will allow them." Abraham Lincoln
